I completely forgot about this that I made I while ago. It was pretty spontaneous as I always end up getting bogged down with photographing all the stages of seeing these things made, dropped, weathered, and disappear (or not). Hence the reason there’s no photos of this on the bench where I left it, or inside the envelope which I can’t remember what I wrote on it.
It’s a little bigger and more flamboyant than what I’m used to but I think I prefer bigger.
Anyway, I put this in an envelope scribbled something stupid on the front then wrapped the whole thing up in a plastic wallet and left it (reluctantly) on a bench.
For ages I’d been trying to get a glimpse of if it’d gone or not, but when I drive past the view is obscured and I never had the time to go down there. But the other day I went past (about a month or two since I left it) and it’s gone! Usually the pieces I make are so small people don’t notice them (no matter how obvious I try to make them) or I never get the chance to revisit the same spot. But I really hope someone has actually picked it up, opened it and taken it… Cross your fingers.
(It’s done in biro and watercolour [from the tube because I'm harcore like that]. On the back is written two quotes: One from Romeo and Juliet: ["PUT UP YOUR SWORDS; YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU DO"] the other Charles Manson: ["These children that come at you with knives, they are your children. You taught them. I didn't teach them. I just tried to help them stand up.])
And later on my walk I also posted this sticker but it didn’t stick very well so I think I’m going to stay on flat surfaces before I find some better stickers.
I also found this rubber band randomly tied onto a low branch of a hedge. It’s not exactly street art but I always give myself a pat on the back for having eyes like a hawk, I wish more people used their eyes a bit more whilst they’re walking roads that they ‘know like the back of their hand’.
Eagle-eyes out!
xx

Man, you are so much cooler than I am.
Are you kidding me? Thanks all the same but the ‘my-so-called-life’ writing style you have on your blog oozes class! I envy you! XD
There’s a competition I want to enter requiring youngsters to write 2000 words or less of ‘creative non-fiction’ and I’ve just found myself staring at your blog with a kind of crazy-nervous-twitch-frustration because I just can’t seem to write that way. *shakes fist*

Hello! And how are you? And thank you very much.
